About The Programme

MEPEP programme ‘The Multi-Educational Programme for Employment Promotion in Migration-Affected Areas’ is funded by the  European Union Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing the root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa (EUTF) and is implemented by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), in collaboration with the Egyptian government, namely, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) and Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE).

MEPEP programme aims at enhancing economic and equal opportunities, for vulnerable groups through fostering a more inclusive social and economic environment by working on the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector education.

⦿ The physical and technical infrastructure of Sharkeya Governorate’s 10th of Ramadan training Centre.

⦿ Physical and technical equipment of Sharkeya Governorate’s 10th   of Ramadan training Centre.

The programme is targeting female and male young students and graduates, adult learners (employed and unemployed), employers, and Egyptian society at large including non-Egyptians.

Females And Males Trainers And Teachers

At least 270 females and males trainers and teachers from TVET centers and technical schools

Vulnerable People Living In Sharkeya

At least 2,500 young male and female from vulnerable groups living in Sharkeya Governorate

Indirect Beneficiaries

At least 15,000 indirect beneficiaries, e.g. household and community members will receive a substantial improvement

Companies, Factories & Agencies

At least 400 companies/factories/agencies in the district will benefit from wider availability of skilled workforce
