As part of the “Promotion of Employment and Socio-Economic Development Opportunities through a Better Quality TVET System in Sharkeya” – PESDO project, in the framework of the “Multi-Educational Programme for Employment Promotion in Migration-affected Areas” – MEPEP Programme funded by the European Union, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the first round of the training courses in Sharkeya governorate. These courses are being conducted at both, the 10th of Ramadan VTC and Zagazig VTC.
On Saturday, 8th March 2025, a significant milestone in youth empowerment and workforce development was achieved!
One of the MEPEP’s key objectives is to train 2500 students, providing them with technical and vocational skills tailored to labour market demands. The first round, targeting 530 carefully selected students has officially commenced, marking the beginning of a transformative journey towards professional growth and employment.
These training courses are designed to equip trainees with specialised technical and vocational skills tailored to labour market demands. They cover key sectors, including refrigeration, PLC, electricity, welding, electronics, and secretarial work.
Key Benefits of the Training Courses:
- Hands-on training using state-of-the-art equipment and technologies
- Development of industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability and career prospects
This reaffirms MEPEP’s commitment to bridging the skills gap, strengthening TVET system, and fostering economic opportunities for young Egyptians. By equipping students with the necessary expertise, the programme paves the way for sustainable employment and a brighter future.
