MEPEP is delighted to share an exciting milestone in its ongoing mission to advance technical and vocational education in Egypt. On 8th December 2024, the first shipment of state-of-the-art equipment was successfully delivered to the 10th of Ramadan Vocational Training Centre (VTC). By the end of January 2025, all equipment had been fully delivered and installed, marking a significant step forward in modernising vocational training infrastructure.
This cutting-edge equipment has been supplied by the companies of De Lorenzo and InterTech. It is set to revolutionise the training landscape at the 10th Ramadan VTC by introducing advanced tools and technology across various fields. These include specialised labs for home automation, civil and industrial electrical systems, electronics, mechatronics, green energy, hydraulics, pneumatics and tailoring. Additionally, the VTC has been equipped with cutting-edge welding instruments and machines. To better support a dynamic and interactive learning experience, a new multimedia classroom has been established, integrating technology into education more effectively than ever before. Last, but not the least, first-aid supplies have been provided to ensure a safe and well-equipped training environment.
Following the delivery, the installation was successfully completed, and the staff at the 10th of Ramadan VTC were provided with comprehensive training on utilising the equipment of each lab. This ensures that the knowledge is seamlessly transferred to the students, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in their respective fields.
These advancements signify MEPEP’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of vocational training, aligning education with the current needs of an evolving labour market. By equipping the 10th of Ramadan VTC and SERENA with the latest technology, MEPEP ensures that students gain hands-on experience that positions them for success in their future careers.
Furthermore, this milestone strengthens SERENA’s role as a centre of excellence in technical and vocational education, creating a model for innovation and skill development in the region. This achievement reflects MEPEP’s broader vision of empowering students with industry-relevant skills and fostering their potential to contribute to Egypt’s economic growth.
This success is a testament to MEPEP’s dedication to transforming education, shaping brighter futures, and building a stronger, competitive workforce for tomorrow.
