The Minister of Labour visits MEPEP booth at EduTech 2025

On 20th February 2025, during the second day of MEPEP’s participation in EduTech 2025, the programme had the distinct honour of welcoming His Excellency Minister Mohamed Gobran, Minister of Labour, along with Dr. Amr Bosila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Operation and Management Unit of Applied Technology Schools, and Prof. Ali Shams El-Din, President of EduGate.

Their visit provided an excellent opportunity for a constructive discussion with Dr. Nicola Tucci, Team Leader of the MEPEP programme. The conversation highlighted MEPEP’s key objectives and achievements in strengthening technical and vocational education, fostering employment opportunities in Sharkeya, and bridging the gap between education and the labour market. The dialogue also explored potential collaborations to enhance vocational training and create sustainable job opportunities for young Egyptians.

We sincerely appreciate the visit and keen interest of His Excellency Minister Mohamed Gobran, Dr. Amr Bosila, and Prof. Ali Shams El-Din. Their presence at the EU booth underscores the critical role of collaboration in advancing the TVET sector and shaping a brighter future for Egypt’s youth.
